Great place! However, as far as I can tell, they don’t have an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). They were pretty busy when I was there, so it’s only a matter of time before an employee or guest has a Sudden Cardiac Arrest there. Having an AED easily accessible can save lives. Please consider getting one!

I needed to find a more reasonably priced storage solution for our small non-profit organization. After checking online for options in the area, I came across AC. The process was very easy. I was able to reserve the space online and take care of most of the set up over the phone. Once in the office to get the gate code information and finish paperwork, I met with Torrey and she was very nice, informative and helpful. This is an excellent storage facility! It is super clean, conveniently located near the corner of Coit and McDermott, and I have always felt safe there. One unusual thing is that there are two exits one to Coit and the other to McDermott! I highly recommend this facility!

I’ve used storage for 20+ years With low expectations due to prior experience. Joe (US Air Force Vet) went above and beyond. We worked with me to find the right size locker by driving me around and offered options to fit my needs. I really had only planned on staying at this location for a couple months but will continue to stay here and my experience with cubesmart and public storage failed in comparison

Great service

This storage facility checked all the boxes (pun may or may not have been intended). Top notch service from the manager and employees. Clean units with cool AC which was amazing as we were doing our move in the hot Texas heat. AC Self Storage was also able to meet our needs and adapt as we added on additional units to make our moving experience easier. It was tough to leave all of our worldly goods under lock and key, but we never worried as the security measures kept us at ease. Five stars, would highly recommend.

It’s this kind of warmth and hospitality that makes a business feel like a good decision when deciding which one to interact with. It’s a very good storage place which we found in short span of time. We were moving Plano and needed a storage close by our apt. Found it in online and on the way driving only we booked. I found A/C self storage got the best deal, cheaper but with quality , a well maintained storage and easy to operate the security process compared to others which I experienced in the past. With spacious environment.staff are friendly, courteous and helpful up to the last minute you exited their premise.

Convenient and affordable after an unexpected move caused by the winter storm I was able to save money to store my belongings while repairs were made. Facility is in a great location and is well maintained. On-site staff are friendly and very professional. Had a unit at this facility for almost two years with no incidents or problems at all. Recently vacated due to relocation and they handled this easily and were quite helpful.

Great experience today beginning my storage lease. I don't recall her name but she was very patient and waited as I tried to fit my jet ski in a unit but needed to move to a larger unit. Our church has had a unit for years. Over time price has gone up, up, up - so ridiculous now we are moving a mile east to save over 50%. No complaints otherwise aside from some limits on access hours, not a big problem for us.

The lady who assisted me was EXTREMELY helpful and professional. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful through the process and made me feel like a valued customer. She helped me through the process and took me back to the area to show me where the storage space was. I was very impressed with her-every business should have employees like that!

Torrey was the one who helped me, she was very friendly. Though I just went there because they had the lowest prices, I ended up learning more about the company and how they give back to the community. It is a very clean facility that appears to have good security. Plenty of cameras and good security codes for everyone individually. Decent prices too.

Super impressed with the cleanliness of this facility. Walked into the office and was greeted with a warm smile by the manager Torrey. The manager helped me with the correct size unit I needed by asking just a few key questions. She really knows her stuff. I was given a tour of the property and I was impressed with how well it is kept. I was shown the storage Miss Torrey qualified me for and it was perfect. Great premium service at a convenient location. Price is a lot higher than the newer facilities farther away. We used their service for about 2-3 years. No issues except that the price keeps going up every year. They did send advanced notice so the increase did not come in a surprise. Security is better than other locations because passcode is required for coming in and out. Facility is clean and well maintained. However our storage needs were for cheap balk household items that are only used once in a while. (i.e. large old luggages) Therefore we could not justify the price based on our requirements. If I had a need to store more valuable items that are needed more often I would still use this vendor.

I really enjoyed meeting Nicole. I got there just a bit before closing (they were closing early, I'm not that guy). She didn't try to rush me. She took the time to show me the unit and talk through all of their services, the security and to make sure I knew how to get on touch if I had any issues. The price is fair and the facility is clean and easy to access.

I chose American Mini Storage simply because they are the closest climate control facility near the home we are going to rent, but I am so glad I chose them! The whole place is very well maintained, it is clean, and customer service is top notch. Lesha helped me rent two units. The process was easy, quick, and she was so nice to me and my daughter during our whole time there. There is only one entrance, but I like that there is an exit on the other side of the facility. Security is great, lots of cameras everywhere.

This is a great facility. I first used this location about 10 years ago, when it was nearly new. I can't tell the difference now; the buildings, the units, everything is clean and well organized. I'm very glad that they are close and that the fees are comparable to facilities that would require a longer drive. Lesha is particularly helpful and clearly takes pride in her facility.

The storage facilities and staff here are excellent. On top of that their pricing was very good (we received two months half-off). To give you an example of how great they are to work with--in the craziness of buying our first house and moving we forgot to notify them that we were moving our stuff out of the unit. 10 days later we had an "oh crickey" moment. But, when we called they told us they noticed that we had moved out and went ahead and signed us out so we would not be billed an additional month. I would have paid, we had a deal, and I didn't notify them, but without even having to ask they took care of us. Customer service is clearly a priority for them! I will absolutely be going back there, and I highly recommend this place.

I am very impressed with this facility and their employees. Every time I have had contact with the employees I have been treated with a helpful attitude and total respect. The facility is always clean and carts are always handy for taking items to and from my unit. This is not the first time I have used storage facilities and this is the best facility I have ever used. I don't think people realize that the prices and certain things are out of this particular locations control. Those things are set by the big wigs at corporate and they should approached. Otherwise you make it look like THIS location is the cause of your low rating when it shouldn't be.This location is great. The Jonathan is super friendly and knows what he is doing. This is my first storage experience and so far it's pretty fantastic thanks to that guy = )

We started renting from American Mini Storage in August of 2014. This facility is very close to our house so we were hoping there would be storage unit that would meet our needs (both economic and space). The manager (James Covey) toured us around the facility letting us see both climate and non-climate controlled units. Since we were selling one house and combining households we shared our plan of taking a larger unit until the house sold, then adding a second unit for a period of time with the goal of "culling" our way down to just one unit (hopefully the smaller one). James was awesome - he just listened to our plan and helped us work our plan - he was not high pressure, he just presented the options and let us make the educated decisions we needed to make during this "crazy" time. We still have two units and have been to the facility MULTIPLE times...... it is always extremely clean both inside the units and the "grounds" in general - I really appreciate the amount of space between the units as many of us are not "professional" trailer maneuverers (if that is a word) - the drainage (which is something we were paying attention to) seems to be adequate and although we did not opt for a climate controlled unit to save some money - we were pleasantly surprised of the temperature in the units in the heat of the summer in Plano, Texas ! ----- All in All - I would have to give the American Mini Storage facility and it's management both 5 Stars ! ! !
