UPDATE: (decreased to 3 stars) I moved in October 2023 and was paying $120. Then, in February 2024, the rent increased to $152. (27% increase) The rent increased again in November 2024 to $175. (15% increase) Within 13 months the rent had increased by a factor of 46%. I spoke with a staff member in January 2025, and I was told that the average rent increase was normally 5% to 10% for other storage companies in the area. He was astonished to see how much and how fast this company will increase rates. He was able to reduce the rent back to $152 with the caveat that the rent will likely increase again within the next few months. My reason for deducting two stars is entirely dependent on the 46% rate increase versus the average of about 10%. I'm leaving three stars because the staff has been polite and professional. ORIGINAL REVIEW: (initially 5 stars) Definitely the place to rent! Roy and Crystal are super friendly and helpful. Rent here!

I recently rented a unit and so far its been a great experience!! Roy Parker has helped us a lot we are very appreciative of him and the storage services.

Was in a bit of a pinch needing to find a spot to store most of my stuff, and I was able to get a medium size unit the same day I started looking for 1 month half-off. Started moving stuff in that same day as well. Shout-out to Roy for helping me get set up so quickly even on a busy day for him. Great friendly service.

Worked with Robert in their office to decide on which size storage unit we should rent. I had no problem with getting a storage unit. Manager was polite, he explained everything that I needed to know. I understood the first time. He answered all my questions. Helped me with lock and code entering on key pad. Showed me the nearest entrance to my unit. Gave me a detailed tour to my unit. Not to mention the sale. Saved me allot of money. What really got my attention was surveillance everywhere. Had a very bad experience with last storage unit. Not related to this one. I would definitely recommend this facility

They do seem to have a lot of guidelines and rules regulations stipulations but I got a really good deal on a climate controlled unit the gentleman named James had excellent customer service and made sure I understood all guidelines rules regulations and stipulations I hope I enjoy my stay here at Butter Krust Self Storage and end up being a long term tendant. I like that it was a month to month lease I was not locked into any contracts and my first month's rent was only a dollar I mean that sounds like a win-win honestly so once again five stars to Butter Krust!

I've used other storage facilities in the city and this is the best by far! Rates are very reasonable, clean environment, climate controlled throughout the facility, and customer service is excellent. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a storage unit.

I Reserved A Unit Online Before Opening Hours, And Received A Call From James In Office Shortly After 9a. He Confirmed My Booking And Setup A Visit To The Facility. Once He Walked Me Through The Process, I Was Able To Demonstrate The Easy Entry Steps, Then Went To View My Unit.

I've had my storage unit for a little over a year and I've had no problems whatsoever. The facility is always super clean. LOVE that there are always carts available to help move belongings. All the staff I've dealt with have been very friendly. Eric is always so polite and knowledgeable, answers any questions I may have without hesitation.

James and Eric, and others applied what made my storage needs and storage transition smooth; I applaud you! You guys were awesome! Excellent customer interaction, very customer-focused, and like many others that lack communication and phone response when you call a place; these guys were excellent and attentive to our storage needs. Calling and dealing with Butter Krust storage exceeded my expectations and proved that there are Great storage facilities to deal with and that they do exist in this world! It’s a shame that other bad experiences with other storage places can make a wrong impression on all storage facilities. But this place and the staff at Butter Krust were there to remove the false impression I was currently having with several other storage places within the 14 days I had to find storage. This place is the spot! We support any independent companies and this one had the best rates in town. The place is clean and the customer service was exceptional. Giovanni took great care of us. I was there late 5 till closing and he still greeted us with a smile and was able to still get us our unit right there and then. We also forgot our lock and Giovanni sold us one they have there and made sure we knew how to use it! I recommend anyone to use these facilities. They are all climate control so you can’t beat that! Friendly VERY CLEAN & storages are BIG too no complaints here at all :) we also loved the loading n unloading dock we drove up n it was so easy for us to unload from our trailer and truck thank u for making it easier on my husbands n uncles back :)

In a time where most other storage facilities are trying to do everything they can to make the process automated, cold and distant, I feel like I am renting a space from family with Butterkrust. Welcoming people with a clean facility and access hours longer than other places around. Extra bonus is they have loading dock platforms that are truck high so I don’t even have to lower my items off the truck, just back up and roll them right into the facility. Thanks for saving my back muscles.

I was the very first customer and I must say they were very nice and considerate. It was the very beginning of covid and I had to move out of my home. Then within 2 months I got another place to live and they allowed me 5 days to remove my belongings and didnt charge me. I'm very thankful and they were very helpful and reasonable
