My experience so far with Butterkrust Storage has been such a positive one. First time ever renting a storage and your employee Shelly Hoffman made it so simple as she explained every detail to me about renting.

I very much liked Shelly so this is not a reflection on her. And this was just her third day of work so the stuff is not her fault. First of all, we waited quite a while to be helped because there was already another customer there. Then once we got all of our stuff in our unit and closed the door we realized there was no hasp on the unit, so it was not lockable. Shelley tried to put a hasp on it but it did not work so she had to put us in another unit. So we had to move our stuff again . That unit has a small water leak. We placed our belongings in a corner of the unit and just have to pray that our stuff will not have water leaked on it. At this point, we had already been here a full three hours, and we were exhausted and did not want to move to another unit.
Very pleasent and professional. Storage units are very clean and spacious as well as climate controlled. Staff goes out of their way to insure that all your needs are met satisfactory. Over all a great experience and would definatly reconmend.

I don't really like that I have a storage with y'all and I have a storage with the other safe space storage on SPID it's the same exact size and they're supposed to be the same exact price but this month y'all are charging me $1.26 just late fee is more than safe space and it should be the same amount with the half off for the first two months so this month I owe y'all 126 I barely got it couple days before the end of the month and then the new month starts pass the fifth I'll put a lock on and now 126 for the whole month I say space same thing exactly happens you know what I've been paid it yet it's just and then I only owe $75 10x15 is both of them so why is that and what's the deal and why do I owe so much to get that lock taking off two of them with y'all's company and I don't like it because I don't and I will never further anybody to go to you if y'all are charging me way more than safe spacing on the same sister company same size unit same price range I'll say online I are within it turns out to be a totally different thing thank you
The building is very clean and seems well maintained. Never seen anyone walking around like they’re looking for an open unit.
Other customers are friendly also.
It was a little misleading I did not know I had to have insurance, you should just say the rent is what it is.

I don't feel so great about it because you force people to purchase your insurance but yet it doesn't cover anything. All of the ceilings have leaks and holes and stuff gets wet whenever it rains, and then the insurance won't cover anything unless you purchase a new one and show a receipt which is ridiculous. You guys need to fix all the holes in the ceilings so people's items are not getting wet

Would be nice if they prorated after moving out on the 6th, but it is what it is. Overall a great storage facility.
Your automated system is useless . And very inconvenient when you speak to a representative. Come to find out you don’t take payments over the phone. That’s why most businesses have these options so when automated systems fail over the phone to receive a payment you can talk to a representative and they can take your payment. It’s an inconvenience to have to go to the office and make a payment in person.
And then you try to blame my bank for payment not wanting to go through when it’s at your end.

Love the unit just hate the payment every month keeps raising on me . Would love it to stay at one price , not every month keep going up 10 or so
I feel like you all take advantage of the fact that people have their items in your storage unit by consistently raising the price of the storage unit. It is way more often than I think would be required due to increasing costs of operating expenses. My personal thought is that it's just a play to make more money and the company knows that the effort to move all one's items to a different location is a daunting thought. I'm going to work very hard to try and find an alternate place to store my items so I don't have to continue to be at the mercy of management. A small increase every year or so is understandable, but that's not what's happening.

But raising the price $35 after 3 months is making me rethink my decision. I am hoping there is a negotiation planned as I can’t justify a rate increase every 3 months and it’s already expensive.
It's a very clean facility , manager is very nice and helpful.
I was put on a waiting list for a smaller storage, which I don't mind. I'm just not sure how many are on the list for anticipation, since this storage is for a church rather than for personal use.

Still there. The pushing carts are hard to find at the entrance I use. Maybe there's not enough to go around. I spend 15 minutes walking around your big building trying to find one. You need more.

Very serious rat and roach problem. Some of my personal items were damaged due to rats. Strong smell of rat pee when you enter the building. Staff isn't very helpful, but are very quick to send senseless automated emails and notices. For what I pay, I expected better.

Everything has been amazing so far!! Excellent customer service and the facility is Awesome!! The only thing I've had an issue with is logging in to make my payment online, but I was able to do it over the phone, so it's fine.
You offered 1st month free, but not to me. I called your office prior to the fifth, and explained that I lost my apartment, deposit, and application fee. I
told you my daughter was coming to help me move my things, and I asked if you could prorate my bill, if I had to wait a week to get my things out. I was told that was fine...to just call when I knew when I would vacate. I came in to find you had locked my unit, and charged me another full month. You had an option to help, but you didn't. If I ever am in the unfortunate position to have to store my things, it will not be with Buttercrust.

Overall I had a very good experience. The staff was nice and very professional. They were able to answer all of my questions. But most of all the facilities were very clean and free from rodents. If needed in the future I would definitely use them again and I would definitely recommend them.

I was not happy with the fact that after 2 weeks someone broke into the building and burglarized 3 different units. I am thankful that mine was not one of them but have been very uneasy about the whole situation, having asked numerous times what is being done to prevent this from happening again and no reassuring answer has been given. I visit my unit regularly to make sure it is ok and I don’t feel that I should have to worry about that but yet here I am checking and I still need the unit at least through June. The experience with your staff has always been pleasant and buildings is always clean which is something that I do appreciate.

It was fine. The employee that took all my info and rented the unit to me was very helpful, friendly and knowledgable about your facility. I arrived to rent the unit at about ten minutes until 6..... Closing time. He afforded me great customer service and took his time helping me. The facility is very clean.
I thought the staff was excellent and very understanding. And the storage area was clean smelt good. I totally recommend them. Satisfied customer.
