The facility is clean and well maintained with staff onsite. Porschia is very helpful and professional and that really sets this place apart. I found this place because it was highly recommended by a friend. Interacting with Porschia confirmed the good things my friend said when recommending y’all.
Great experience with educated staff
After I completed my storage task with the two units I rented several months ago I closed both units. I Had a pleasant experience with both managers, Porsche and Roy. I started looking for A storage/ work unit for my business on line and Noticed some reasonable price 10 X 15 units and decided to come back to US Storage, in this Texas heat climate controlled is necessary for my equipment. I just hope I won't have to move because of rapidly increasing rates, I am looking forward to staying with US Storage (Wasson) but sometimes if rates are raised to high an often it's cheaper to rent a truck and look for another long term rental.
This is a clean well maintained facility, and Roy Parker the on site storage manager has been fantastic, he is always so personable and professional. I would recommend this particular storage center on Wasson Rd, in Austin Texas to everyone.
Porschia was an absolute delight both times, when I moved in and then into a bigger unit. She even waited for me on Saturday at closing time and completed the transfer with a smile as always, and just made the whole experience as easy and pleasant as it could possibly be! I wish she was staying, but she's just been filling in for now. I am pleased with the facility and everything else so far...

While everything was "friendly", it got off to a rough start. I signed up because of a heavily discounted monthly rate for 2 months. Then learned there were admin fees, payment in advance and prorated "normal price" rent I had to pay so the bill was much higher than I wanted.
The real problem was that I needed a lock and the manager didn't have any to sell. This was on a Friday and I needed to load my unit up on Saturday and Sunday. So he said he would get a lock and leave the key with the manager that would be there Saturday AM. I came in on Saturday and was given the key, but when I opened the unit it was not clean. I left the key with the Saturday Manager to clean. Came in on Sunday and nobody was there during office hours. I came back 3 times and called twice and was finally told there had been an emergency so nobody in office all day. I understand people have things happen, but I was locked out of my unit because of not having a lock core to sell me on Friday, not having the unit ready on Saturday and nobody working Sunday. I lost the whole weekend because your failures that wasted my time and money while having a truckload of stuff and nowhere to put it.

such a mess. I replied to an email, asking a question, never heard back. I thought I was on autopay, I was not. My lock was overlocked. I arrived after hours, locked out.
Justin was nice, Danny, not so much.

Only one minor hiccup. My access code stopped working even after I came in early to confirm the code. I was locked in and had to call the customer line so they could contact someone in the office to let me out. If that had been after hours, I would have been in deep ****.

I felt confident that I was making a good decision. The confidence grew with time by talking to the manager,because she actually listened to me about the dilemma I was facing.
The staff on Wasson Road were very helpful and patient with me. This was my first time getting a storage so it was all new to me but Manny and Ethan were very helpful explaining everything to me and I really appreciate that.

Love it so far! Your personnel reps are friendly and helpful. I got a special deal that is incredible and saves me money, which is a big plus. Location is not super close, but less than 10 minutes or so, a reasonable distance from my house and conveniently located near major roads.

The only comment that would make life easier would be to be able to personalize your gate code. But even that isn’t a huge deal.

it was ok. We are running a commercial tile business from the unit and there is no dumpster, which I knew going in, but, if yall could charge a fee per month to use the dumpster, we would pay it. Also, door codes have not been working which is a little frustrating. but the property is nice and clean.

From the moment the manager miss Angela answered the phone I knew I didn't have to go shopping for any other storage center. She was pleasant straight forward and followed up everyday until I came up to look at units. We walked the facility and she made sure that I was comfortable with the unit sizes needed because I wasn't to sure.
When I came back to reserve I dealt with Josh, he was equally pleasant and I received the same professionalism I received from Angela. We even walked the units again to make sure that I was getting the correct one's when I didn't ask. I couldn't recommend any other facility more highly than this one even if you are looking on the other side of town!!!

It was excellent for the most part. Mr. Dobbins - Mark is true gentleman, and a very good business person. He outlined various items in ways you could understand and tried to have a forward vision of what I might need in the way of storage and gave me various options. I feel he is a person I would have as a friend. As for Coddy, the person filling for Mark on days off, his inaction to instructions given to him by Mark regarding my situation, were not followed and he cost me an extra $250. He claims Mark never gave him instructions, but I know that is not true because he did half of what he was told to do. He just didn't do the other half.
I also want to thank Mr. Troy Duncan for his kindness and generosity in working with me in order that I can receive a $750 check from a Veterans group, who are helping me after a reversal of fortunes. I would HIGHLY recommend US STORAGE Centers to anyone who asked.
