This is based on our proximity to New York Medical College and EF Academy. Our location is also near the beautiful Graham Hills Park and Rockefeller State Park Preserve, attracting many outdoor enthusiasts looking to store their gear with us when not in use.
Security
We provide 24/7 video recording and individually alarmed units of our Hawthorne facility to deter intruders and other unauthorized personnel. Our alarms immediately contact the authorities in the event of a breach, and our cameras conveniently capture different angles of the facility and are monitored by our security personnel.

Everything went smooth and perfect knowledgeable staff clean facilities
The office staff is very nice and helpful. The storage unit is exactly what we need and at a great price easy to access whenever we want.
Rental rates went up over 200% in one year not fair to people, have to scramble to find other places

The Receptionist was very helpful and made the process easy. There was 3 storage units available for the size I wanted and she gave me the option to pick one. I feel that was convenient because I didn’t want the unit too close to end. I give a solid 10 to the location, as manager Karen is outstanding. But the online process muddled the reservation process, and the remote off-site person who called me got it all wrong. Thankfully, Karen competently corrected the errors. I would only recommend US Storage if customers deal directly with the facility and not with a central call center or online reservation. Id rate that process a 6. Your rates are competitive and the facility feels safe and clean. And, of course, Karen helps resolve any concerns with her professional, service-oriented demeanor!

Called 1 hour before looking at a 10x30 unit in Hawthorne New York. Upon arrival Met with Karen C. And she was very professional about giving me information about the lease etc.i then told her I was looking at a couple locations later in the day and asked if I could leave a deposit until I decide. She then said it will available until 4pm if I wanted it. About two hours later I had made the decision to take lease the unit. I’m very happy with the decision I made and the professionalism Karen C. Provided .

At the Hawthorne, NY location there is a safety issue with elevator doors that do not stay open on their own. This makes it difficult to load cargo but more importantly, if a customer were to step into the loading bay and the doors closed, the customer would be trapped inside. The door release is on the outside. This can happen on both the top and bottom floors of the 2 floor storage unit.
So far I am having an amazing experience with US Storage. Karen, the Manager, has been so helpful in making this process as smooth as possible. The facility is clean and easy to access. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience.

Oustanding. Front office was so very thoughtful in hearing my needs re: price and size, suggesting option of 2 units, and finding units that were very close to one another for my convenience. Amazing! Both units were in clean condition when I arrived to unload. This location does not offer a truck but I had great experience with Kisco UHaul and the discount on these units more than makes up the difference.

I've had two units in less than a year. The first one a few months maybe a little more, the rates went up, then went up slightly to a larger unit and within a few months had a flood in that unit, then two months later was told that there now was a increase on that one, making me pay two increases in one year. Not good business to increase rates right after a flood.
