The check in experience was great and facilities are nice. However, your internet link in the office is absolutely terrible. Many minutes of loading to do anything. What's up with that?!

I paid for my RV parking spot a week ago and still don’t have a gate code. I have driven to the Storage business 3 times and waited with many other people for any employee to show up and nobody did. I have placed my RV in my spot using someone else’s gate code. I could wait no longer to move my RV. I have also called the main number several times but they don’t have the ability to get me a code.

I showed up with my entire house furnishings in a moving truck as planned for 3/3/25 with SafeNest , & nobody was in the office to take off SafeNests lock! I called the California number I found in internet & was told there wouldn’t be anyone coming in that day!
So I had to quickly find another storage facility as I was paying the movers by the hour. The extra time cost me. $250 which I was told SafeNest would not reimburse me, which is really poor business ethics as my extra costs were caused by SafeNests lack of staffing!
The office is closed. Every time I go. I want insurance but couldn't purchase when joining because of the new coming ownership. I just want to be able to get insurance! And can't.
Our rep Ivan was thorough in explaining everything he was patient and very nice. We feel good about our experience because of him
Terrible. I have called twice to have someone call me back. No call back. Went to move in yesterday. Nobody in the office and no code. Spoke with two customers in the parking lot who said the office has been frequently closed during office hours. Please have someone call me. I am going to submit a claim with BBB. I want my money back.

The manager is beyond rude and has treated us very disrespectfully, loud, and hateful with each interaction. I have ask to be called by your corporate offices and have yet to have a returned call. If I wasn’t in a time crunch at the time, I would have moved to another company immediately and I plan to move my belongings asap.
The guy that helped was great. However, I feel a bit like a was bait and switched. Online the unit was 50 bucks but here I am paying 100 per month

The facility is clean and secure, but there are some serious gaps in your sign-up processes and your online payment portal. I walked away from the in-person signup thinking I had paid the fees and rent up front, and since I gave them my credit card, that this was already on file for the ongoing payments moving forward. That’s how it works for most of these services. Nope. I get surprised with a notice that the bill is past due. Ok fine, I go on the website to pay it, but the interface was designed in such a completely unintuitive way that the wrong combination of checkboxes ONLY sets up autopay, but doesn’t pay the current bill. I didn’t realize that had happened until I received notice that I had lost access to my storage unit. It was only AFTER a call to customer service that I was able to learn what the magical combination of buttons was.
Such a catastrophically horribly designed UI is either a product of gross incompetence, or an intentional decision decision to dishonestly gather more revenue from late fees. Either way, it doesn’t speak well of your organization, your processes, or your customer service.

I ask for autopay when I was in the office & the guy for sure put it in the system however I got a late fee of $15 on my account & like 3 messages 2 emails & 2 phone calls trying to collect my payment I just signed up last week but other than that I love the facility
Decided to rent a unit from, but after processing the rental you did not disclose any additional fees charged. I was very disappointed that you did that. In addition from my past experiences with rental units, you should not charge fees for insurance.
Staff is super friendly and storage units are spacious!

John was extremely helpful and when we needed a second space I signed up online and he moved the second space next to our first.
The new storage facility in Hendersonville, NC is awesome. I've used other storage facilities in the past and none compare to this one. Johnny was extremely helpful getting me signed up and answered all of my questions. I have been in and out several times since I signed up and the gates and codes work perfectly. The lighting and fencing is very good and I'm comfortable my motorhome will be safe.
My experience was extraordinary. Johnny went well above and beyond to accommodate my needs!

The facility is nice but the facility moving carts are not big enough nor robust enough and definitely not enough of them.
I would have to say the women there are amazing and very helpful and they helped me as fast as they could and listened to my problems I had going on and why I needed a unit and was very helpful to keep it all private so yes I am pleased and Amber is a great fit for the job and the property manager she was wounderful and so was the women she was training on the day I went there to get my unit.
Move in agent was very congenial and helpful
My experience with Safenest was very mixed. Tried other locations for vehicle storage, but none of them seemed secure or well-monitored enough, and there was very little covered storage.
So I called Safenest to get information - that call was the worst part of the whole process. Customer service rep didn't really listen, and it was hard to get off her script (which included a statement about Safenest charitable giving - I think - which was not useful or appropriate at the inquiry stage at all). Rep looked up the wrong facility twice, telling me that there was NO covered storage available. When I directed her to the Hendersonville, NC location by address, she indicated that there was only space still available for my size of vehicle, and would I like to reserve it through her. I declined, and went to the facility directly. Phone service grade: F
The person there was occupied for along time due to some computer glitches on the Safenest side. However, when I did get to talk with him he was very helpful (he did note that this was not his usual office, so I probably won't see him again). Anyway, I rented a space, affordable at the current 50% off, and I'm satisfied with it.
I love how you walk in and lights come on and your unit also is lit. My only problem is the front doors should be going in not out so you can have more room to maneuver your items through the doors safely. Otherwise it's a prime way of storage.

I went on 12/18/23 to put my items in storage at around 4:20 and the office was closed again!!! The hours online and on the office door state they are open until 5:30. This is unacceptable!!! I am paying for a storage unit that I cannot access. I placed a call to the facility manager and am still waiting.
New facility. Excellent security features. Had "undercover" option with power connection that I was seeking and close proximity to my home. Dennis Korte went "beyond expectations" to accommodate me. Only downside...I felt that the price was a little high compared to other places.
It was a little confusing at first but all the employees were very helpful and kind I had a good experience
