The onsite employee was offsite both times that I went to the white bear lake Minnesota location. The Open sign was lit, but the door was locked. I waited for more than an hour outside, both times, for the employees to return (I had called US Storage customer service both times). Upon returning, both employees sat down at their desks, did not greet me or offer to serve me. The service I received from them was beyond extremely poor; they gave me incorrect information that caused additional waste of time and great inconvenience to me.

I have filed a class action lawsuit against this company for malice throughout the white lake storage facility. I was profiled by the daytime. Staff scoping out my personal property.. then I was taking off the books and evicted for trying to pay my bill in full. my personal property 100% will be returned to me or this will go to the Attorney General’s office. The facility is clean and safe and the staff has been helpful. However the elevator on the north end sometimes has a terrible odor. The biggest drawback is the raising of prices several times each year.

I think you have a great location and property. However, I was very disappointed when my rate went up a few times yet the rate on your website was much lower. I requested the lower rate, offered to pay the year in full but received a “No” as my answer. In order to receive the lower rate I had to move all of my stuff to a different unit, which I did but was very difficult for a 61 yr old woman with no family here. Really think you should rethink your policy especially for loyal customers.
Luanne Hoff was fantastic and deserves a raise and promotion. The rest of management was absolutely terrible and hard to work with. We rented the space as a drive up unit and were told packages could be received by the office. Management refused to accept packages and had heavy machinery parked directly in front of our unit most of the time. We also attempted to rent another unit, and management gave it to a new tenant instead. We were then forced to leave altogether, and that new tenant was aggressive and appears to be using their unit against the rules of the complex. We cleaned up our unit, left a trash can and the door completely open, then left the state. We informed management we were moved out, and they said ok. Three days later, they charged us another full month’s rent and then refused to refund it, instead of charging the cleaning fee for the trash can. This behavior has cost your company any repeat business of mine. I recommend clearing house and promoting Luanne only.

Unsure. Of course, I appreciate that you are providing me a service. That said, raising the monthly fee after a few months tenancy is ridiculous. A necessary repair has gone undone and if it is not repaired by my next month’s rent, I will be leaving for my own safety and security. The hours of access do not suit me.

People running facility were always on phone talking to mom. Gates were not maintained. Had to use entrance to exit which required going into building and around because inside yard does not have a gate key post to enter code. US Storage increased storage fee 100%. Discovered your company uses algorithm that determines quarterly rate assessments. Will not recommend this facility to anyone.

Overall facilities are nice. But unfortunately not the best experience with getting in and out of facilities. My code would not work as it was cancelled prior to the end of my lasts paid month. I had wait for hours on my moving day to gain access. Called customer service no help! They assumed I had not paid my bill, which I repeatedly assured them I was current and had the confirmation email to prove it. I was told I had to wait for location staff to arrive. They were supposed to open by 9:30 but did not staff arrive until almost ten.

This was a temporary solution that worked out quite well. The price was fair, the property well organized but not without problems.
One night, after retrieving some items, the gate would not raise.
We tried the code over and over and called all the phone numbers listed for "help" finally we pushed it up by hand as high as we could and squeezed the car under it....not fun!
Overall the experience was simple and easy. Any issues were quickly resolved by the staff.
When i went online there was no one at the place to let me into the storage unit. So i went to the storage place next to this one.

Overall, I am really pleased with the quality of site, the helpfulness of the staff. My concern is that after a few years, the rent on our locker became higher than a fresh start renting the same sized locker. So, we moved from one unit to another and are saving $50/month. Same sized unit.

Well I would like to start of by saying Shayla she’s the best honestly truely the GOAT. She’s helped me with my unit from day one and I couldn’t have asked for better service I hope every one knows that’s and she gets a promotion. Just like Mr. Square pants she is ready to help you with anything.
Nice and clean storage
The office is nice and very helpful, it is a nice clean secure facility. It would be nice if they could leave doors open when you are moving in or out a large amount like having movers unloading or loading large trucks of household items.
There are lights out sometimes and it makes it difficult to see to open your unit.
I asked about outside units and was told there wasn’t any but then I see there are drive up units, so I’m confused about that?

All good. the only thing that would be nice is if the lav at the space is keyed to your code so you can use it when the office is not staffed. Sometimes I think that after you get into a business/rental place they’ve got you so they don’t have to really go out of their way to do extra things for you as a renter. From day one, the staff at US Storage Centers has always been nothing but super helpful and nice. Even after I got my gate number messed up, they were so patient and willing to help me work the problem out. Now I have the pass number tattooed on my forehead so I will never forget, lol!

I reserved a outside space and prepaid, but when I got to the facility the lady wouldn’t rent me the space for my enclosed trailer that I’m renting to own because I don’t have paper work saying I own it, but it’s registered to me and the company.

Frustrated. The price of my unit went up ~25% with a month’s notice.
Cannot enable auto-pay online. Called twice. Help desk could not assist. They said they'd escalate. I haven't heard back.
I had a little trouble navigating my account online to do what I needed but the person in the office I talked to was helpful and very pleasant to work with.
Storage is fine from a cleanliness standpoint. Auto-Pay online does not work for 2 units....only works for one. When I asked for a 2nd unit to be physically nearby my 1st unit, I got on to the same floor \ wing but easily 100-200' away and yet there are clearly numerous un-rented units of the same size literally across the aisle 5' away.

I have been with US storage for over a year and my wife and I am very well pleased with US storage. We have room for others to use this business..

Nosy, rude someone tries to break into our unit messed up the lock the key would no longer work, when we tried to get it off the lady came up screaming we can't cut our lock off, we asked what we were supposed to do then and was told she didn't know and was told it was our problem, constant harassment to the author party on my actual, I had rented there prior to this time and had no issues and we had rented at your lake elmo location no issues as well, this time around your rep was upset due to the fact she knew my auth party was homeless, I rented the unit specifically for him to keep his belongings in the even mentioned to me she had seen him around , he was no danger to anyone just needing a safe place for his stuff and have not ever experienced such treatment before and just want your employees to understand that just because someone is homeless doesn't mean they don't have rights or feelings as well as those of us not experienceing those troybles
Your staff doesn't listen, pay attention to what's being said and what they are doing. Billing is still not resolved from the start and a blue lock is on my unit without any form of communication first. Now I'm hearing your side with fees assessed but I'm calling you? And your arguing with me and not listening what the discrepancy is and how your going to correct it.

I’ve been a customer for several years. Your model of constantly raising the rent is predatory. You rent comparable units to new customers at significantly lower rates. In time they will be paying much more also. You count on the fact that people would rather pay a small increase than move their belongs, so you do it gradually. I’m not happy .
Staff is very friendly but I don’t like that if you move out during a month for which you have paid the full amount you’re not untitled to a refund of the rest of the month especially if you move out within 10 days of paying your monthly rent

The employees at US storage center made the process of finding and reserving the correct storage space for our needs super easy. We were given a tour of the facility and set up with all the assistance and guidance on how to enter and leave the locked entrances along with ways to contact the staff if we ever needed help. I highly recommend using their storage services and will use them again in the future.
I used this US Storage center in White Bear Lake while my daughter moved out from one apartment till she found another apartment. The office personnel were kind and accommodating, the facility is clean, the climate controlled unit was affordable, the entrance and elevators are large and located conveniently to access 2nd floor, large push carts at entrance for use, they prorated monthly charge for only the days used for the month I moved out of the unit. I'll definitely use this facility again in the future. I highly recommend this place!

The staff is very nice
It was a great experience, professional all the way! The only thing I didn't like was the admin fee which felt like a money grab.

Every thing is clean and just what we needed. We only wish we could have use one of the storeage areas on the first floor and closer to the door. It seems like there are many open with company locks on them.

Yury was incredibly friendly and showed up early because of a mistake I made on where to go, boy was I impressed! I’m very happy we went here instead of where we had planned. It’s very well lit and clean with a great security system, I don’t doubt the safety of my items any point in time!

Pretty much everything is good except there's no access to electricity. I would pay for an outlet or two as I need to spend quite a bit of time in my storage room.
