I was mostly happy with it until I had to get my storage unit from the office. I was told the office hours and when I got there, no one was in the office and there was a note left on when they’d be back. They did t even show up at the time the note was left. It was a waste of my precious weekend time. He was rude when he finally showed up. And now today again, when my husband needed his assistance, again gone for an hour. This is absolutely unacceptable and I’d never use Morena storage again or recommend it to anyone.

I had an excellent experience with your mgr, Dennis Evey. When i discovered the light was out in the storage unit assigned to me, he quickly assigned another unit to me.
Also I find the monthly rates at Morena Storage are better than than at Public Storage and at Extra Space Storage.
I was so pleased that there was someone who actually worked in the office. I had tried renting from another place but everything had to be done online in advance. Once I met Dennis, who is very knowledgeable about the property and space sizes it was a no brainer who I would rent a space from.

Security system is a bit cumbersome. Otherwise, the facility is nice and staff has been helpful.

Last week I rented a unit online, and thanks to Pete, within about an hour I had already moved my first car load of belongings into my new storage unit. Pete guided me through the move-in process seamlessly - answering my questions on the phone, personally helping me sort out my paperwork, and then walking me through the entire move-in and orientation process with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail. Today I moved in some more items, and when I had trouble remembering how to call the elevator, Pete was right there to help me out with a smile. Overall this has been a great experience so far, with great service. Thank you, Pete!

9n person has been great but following up emails has been non-existent...I received an email sailying I was late. I went in person in late August and paid in person. Responding to the email I asked for explaination 6 days ago and NOTHING...Now I have to take time out of my day today amd try to get someone in the Phone to explain.
Same thing happened when I got my co traxt and it was wrong. No response. I had to go in person to clear up.
I forgot the access code. It’s been a few seasons since I last pulled stuff out of my storage room, but the front desk staff were very professional and help reestablish my account, updated my auto payment credit card, and gave me the access code to the elevator. I appreciated the support.
I have one complaint about the access system and piggy-backing.
On it about 06SEP20204@1400-1445PDT, some blonde lady piggy-backed into the elevator after I accessed it open. She was pretty sly, walked past the open elevator, punched in a fake code because I punched in an eight-key code and it took a good five seconds- she punched something in and took only two seconds, then she hopped right into the elevator with me. This happened before to me, at night so I stopped going at night.
My recommendation is to hire a security company and upgrade the access system.
The cargo loading zone and the elevator were originally designed many for efficiency not security. Anyone can piggy-back into the elevator, they just wait for a guy or woman with access to open the elevator, the bad guys jump out their car, walk up the stairs and they slide right into the open elevator with the guy.
Our rent has increased to more than double what we started at when we began renting our unit. This was not anticipated. Also someone was living in the unit across from us and there was urine, drugs and all kinds of living items in the shared hallway space. Urine got in our unit.
Staff is highly accessible and storage is secure here.
This was a referral, so found the staff to be efficient and helpful and a well maintained property. Very convenient location!
Staff was rude and non-communicative.
Rate increases are to often and were higher than other storage companies.
Hours of operation are inconsistent.
Carts where not always available and had to search for the on the other side of the property.

It was pleasant but the prices are too high. The female agent was great to work with. I don't remember her name but she deserves a raise. I saw her handle an angry client and resolve the issue without being aggressive or rude. The guy from Boston is cool too. He had an issue with a client that was being selfish and rude to everyone. He kindly reminded her she was not the only person using the facilities. It ended with him calling authorities but she was gone by the time police arrived. But he remained professional at all times.
The staff has been helpful. The storage space is a good size and appears to be secore
There have been a few changes in the past few years since the building was sold.
Although it is not the full service facility that it once was,I must tell you the staff Is VERY HELPFUL-friendly and doing a great job with the parameters they are given by the new company.
I feel Sarah and her staff have made great efforts to improve the premises and create a sense of safety for the tenants. I would give the staff a five star rating and the parent company a two star rating.
Overall it was a positive experience storing my items at Morena. Thank you for the great service (especially from Junie).
Storage is as safe and convenient. The few interactions I had with staff were positive.
This question is in the past tense, I am still renting a unit. My reason for the lower rating was due to a recent encounter with a staff member while I was moving items into my unit. I notified the staff member that the lights were out in my unit. He responded by informing me that there should be a second timer and asked if I would try that. I informed him a short while later that the timer(s) did not resolve the issue. I stated that if he had a bulb I had a ladder and could change it right then while I was working in my unit. He replied that the bulbs needed to be ordered, at this point he had also spoken with the lady in the unit next to mine (which shared the light). He stated that she would be back in her unit in 2 months and they would fix the light at that time as he could access the bulb from that unit. I guess in the meantime I am supposed to bring flashlights to see anything.
Friendly service and accommodating especially since I am from out of state and needed to conduct business over the phone to set up s storage unit for my daughter who is in college in the area.

It was good but I now pay 200 dollars month which is just absurd and unfair. I don't have the time to move my stuff but I have to keep paying this in the meantime so hopefully I'll be remove my stuff shortly to a more fair storage unit
The prices are skyrocketing, which is disturbing. The place has gone downhill, with such a chemical stink in the hallways that it is difficult to work in there. It always smells like rotting animals in the walls (I know what this is, from living in the country and having rats/mice). Or maybe it's the smell of sprayed poisons ... either way, it's disgusting. I miss the old Morena Storage when there were people to help you, and amazing customer service. I would probably not recommend this company.
Very good experience, as long as you follow the rules. The rules are simple. Pay your rent on time notify them when you’re ready to leave and clean out the unit super easy.

I found the staff friendly just once, when I signed up. Every other encounter with them was hostile, rude and totally innappropriate. the treat people like crap, actually scream at them, bully them and are so far out of line I couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing. I don't know where they get such an attitude, this is a storage facility, and people come here to either pick up or drop off their personal belongings, THE Staff has been so rude I had to report them to management several times. I'm glad I moved out and rented a bigger apartment. what a waste of time and money I would never recommend anyone I liked to your storage
I was happy you all had an extra copy of a key for my unit but the cashier people were rude.
Too frequent price increases.
The doors kept breaking which made entry difficult.
The app to gain entry didn’t work which made it difficult.
Any retail transaction took FOREVER to complete which made it difficult.
There were homeless people everywhere which made it impossible for my wife to go to the unit without me.
It was cheap, so that was good….
I will not be returning when I have future storage needs.
I used to be a customer years ago and had a wonderful experience. So when I needed to put my stuff in storage this was an obv choice. When I walked in, there was instantly a feeling of “something is different.”
The customer service was down to two people only. A far cry from helping you unload and borrow a truck from days before. I asked if this company is changed hands in the last 3 years and sure enough, it had. The place felt dismissal, and was even darker than it used to be. The customer service was two kind, but overstretched employees who were doing the best they could. But it was a feeling of tension you could cut with a knife. The bathrooms smelled awful and were less clean as they had been in the past. My stuff had bugs in it once I moved it out. I was under the impression that they still used pest control. The elevator was broken each time I went there.
Every aspect of what made this place great in the past was now replaced with clear budget cuts. I would not recommend this place anymore. It was ruined by new management he’ll bent on saving a buck.

the woman that helped us in the beginning was amazing. I think her name was Joy. We live close by and were looking for a storage unit just to be able to place a few things in.
The homeless population around this building is absurd. There was never a time that we felt safe going or that there was not homeless sitting at the entrances. It reeks of pee.
Not only was getting inside with our code/app a pain in the ass, once we got in the elevators finally, there was blood on the cloths that cover the inside of the elevator. I have never experienced a more uncomfortable place. I would never recommend this space.
Staff VERY friendly. Had to wait on management for over 3 months for a refund. Would I use your facility again? Definitely yes.
My experience with this facility is mixed. I really like the employees - - they are friendly. However, the facility is dirty - - lots of stains on the carpeting and walls, sometimes the smell (and residue) of urine and feces in the loading area. Carts are old and filthy. . and are often non-existent even when it appears that there are few to no other tenants at the facility. And, the worst thing is that I feel like they raise the rent on my units too often. Seems like every month or every other month! And one time the office claimed that I did not provide proof of insurance and starting charging me the insurance fee. When I provided an email showing that I had provided the documentation previously, I do not think they ever refunded me the money for the insurance fee I was mistakenly charged! Also, when I signed up for my unit, there was a tenant who had defecated/diarrhea's in the unit right next to my new unit as I approached the unit. Of course, they found me another unit but I ended up spending hours at the facility dealing with getting the new unit and I don't feel I got any kind of compensation for what I went through. AND, this unit's rent keeps getting increased!
Many aspects of my experience with your company(which lasted about 8 months, to the best of my recollections)were positive and professional. There was one exception unfortunately that was so bad that it tainted the entirety of the experience by the proximity of its toxicity. There was a man who worked there who I think was the manager. He is a short, white, bald man wearing spectacles and he single handedly made my entire experience there unpleasant, unnecessarily difficult, and plagued by conflict throughout. This rude and socially mal-adjusted person yelled at my wife when I was not present. He attempted to restrict our hours of access to an amended closing time three hours before the n already established closing time.

for a short period of time. Cinnamon Bradley was extremely helpful to us and even stayed open late for us to move our belongings into the unit.

My experience with staff is wonderful. Especially ms. Sierra, very helpful courteous and understanding with everything. Very good employee. Just not comfortable with the open ceiling in storage rooms. I'm sure it's safe, but these wooden doors? Doesn't match up with the price you charge. Leaves you thinking with the safety of your belongings. Not to mention all the homeless people around.
When I arrived the location manager was on duty, and she was exceptionally helpful and made me completely comfortable. She showed me a few rooms and then when I decided on one, we went down and filled out the paperwork which was super easy. She had an employee watch her as she filled him the paperwork so that he could learn and hopefully be able to rent storage rooms in the future. Each time I came back to put more items into my new storage unit everyone it was extremely helpful and had great personalities.
The staff was very helpful and the facility was very clean. Loading docks, dollys and elevator made the move very easy.
