The manager Kevin is very attentive very understanding. I’m very polite. The office is always clean. The hallways to my unit at least from what I seen very clean. And they have a variety of sizes of units odd ones, but sometimes they work.
It was good but way too expensive. You keep raising the rate every 6 months. I started at around $200. Dollars at month and in 2 and 1/2 years I'm up to $500.

I moved in on 8/24 and on 8/25 I returned to my unit at 9 am when the property opens on Sunday. We had discovered we left our hand-truck dolly behind after being the last tenants on the premises. That was the reason for my visit on Sunday. I was at the property for 5 HOURS! I called the office a total of 9 TIMES! Each time I spoke with staff they continued to tell me someone was on their way to open the gates that were still locked for inside units. After my 4th call at 11 am I requested to be updated by phone when someone was on their way. Never got even 1 call from your staff. ALL COMMUNICATIONS WERE INITIATED BY ME! Finally, at 1 pm I again made a follow up call and was told by Chris that the property was to stay closed for the day!!! I was unable to meet the commitments I made for Sunday because of US Storage! I expect a call from someone in management higher than the property manager. I was told at 11 am on Sunday that the Area and District Managers were working on opening the property and they would give me a call. I RECEIVED NO CALL, EVER! I expect a call ASAP. I tried to reach your corporate office, the number listed was for the Glendale/LA Crescenta property.
Working with Kevin was a very good experience. He is a good communicator, and covered all of the basics that we needed to know. We are impressed with how clean the facility is, and the price is reasonable. Thank you!

I went in on Sunday and was extremely happy with the service I received by the gentleman working in the front. My process was easy and extremely helpful for what I was looking for. Every experience at US storage in Mission Hills is a great one!
From my first inquiry to the execution of the contract and move-in, the staff at US Storage has been phenomenal. They are responsive and they are alive!! Unlike Public Storage facilities where you cannot get in touch with a live person at all!!! While US Storage is more expensive, we decided to go with them because of the customer service and accessibility of human beings!
Kevin, the facility manager is wonderful! He’s very friendly, and answered all of my questions all while showing me the different options available for me based on my storage needs. He’s quite knowledgeable in understanding what seiz units work for your situation and ultimate goals, even if it is for the purpose of organizing. I was condensing 2 units at other storage facilities to US Storage which is just a few blocks from my home. Kevin made himself available if I had any questions. I really appreciate his help.

I am not satisfied. I was not provided options for an out door unit initially. I was given a unit that is far from the access point, and is underground. Then the rep tried to upsell me, when I was unsatisfied with the location. I do not feel this is an honest practice. It was not clearly disclosed when I was making the online rental. I am not satisfied that I cannot access the unit after 7 pm. If I need something I will have to rush over there. I work until 5:30 pm. I just do not feel this has been a customer friendly experience. I am searching for other locations that may fit my needs better.
Whoops the review I left before this I thought for was a different Location. For the location on Brand Boulevard. Wow these guys have it together. The place is clean. Well taken care of. The bathrooms are clean. Kevin Kelly really runs out a great place.

The experience was not good at all. The lady that I originally spoke with on the phone happens to be the call center rep well I specifically asked (you can go listen to the call) if I can park both of my vehicles in the 35ft space I reserved she said yes that’s not a problem. This was my main concern because I don’t want to pay for 2 spots when they both fit in one that’s ridiculous. She assured me I can park them together so I reserved the spot. Once I got to the location the manager said no you can’t do that it’s 1 vehicle per spot. I asked can I be discounted is there anything that can be done cause I’ve drove all the way over here just to be told one of my trucks will have to left on the street. Paying almost $500 for 1 truck with a spot that’s big enough to fit 2 sounds really greedy to me. You guys need to train your call center reps better or let your managers know what is allowed. All I know is that everyone is not on the same page so I definitely will not recommend this place to anyone else, I won’t be here for long either.

We first reviewed what size would be good for me and what was available, then he got the tour vehicle out to see them first hand. I noticed that the general area around the storage units were clean, and well kept. My own unit was exactly as I wanted. No complaints on that front.
One more small thing of note. The office uses the VESA floating monitor stands. As a bit of a tech guy, I made the comment that the company had to be a good place to work for. VESA stands are not normally standard issue.
Because the company provided a very considerate monitor upgrade to its employees, I can guess that the company actually cares. I would recommend giving them business.
Not paid for this review, but if they wish to give me something for my time after seeing this, I would not be opposed.

I haven't used the storage unit yet. It is really for my adult daughter Maryel McKinley and her adult Son Mario M Zavalas. . Can you please remind me where it is and how much? I think she said she needs something less expensive as I closed out her storage down the street and she was upset she said it wasn't legal what I did. I am 90 and she is 58 Please call her at 818 361-6377 our Mission Hills Mobile Home as I am going into an Independent living in Arizona in May, she will stay here as she until the house is properly sold & the Mobile Home I am buying her outside of the SFV will have closed escrow. She will need access to it. Can you put her down as an authorized user? Her email is [email protected] Dr Maryel McKinley only paid $85.00 for it, and doesn't need such a big storage. Can you please call her at our home 1(818) 361-6377 & discuss this with her? As I closed her storage without her permission while she had high blood pressure in the hospital. She was shocked that I could do that. I took the key off her ring & she gave me the security code once.I closed out her & her Adult sons account. It was safe,and ready to go on pickup. That's all great.
But: I want to express concern about the policy of pre-payment for an entire month, with no refund for early departure. That just doesn't seem right to me.
At a minimum, if the space is rented out to someone else for the balance of the month, a refund (equal to the balance) should be given to the original renter.

I’ve only taken one load to storage so far. The online sign up was simple. The manager was great! She showed me the unit and gave me a lot o information. She explained everything completely and was very professional. The office was very clean.

We had an amazing experience with US Storage unit and Staff. I had to rush in, purchase a storage unit, unpack everything and rush to rented house to finish cleaning. The US Storage Associate was so helpful and completed everything within 15 min. I was able to purchase everything I needed for my last minute storage unit. US Storage was recommended to me and I would recommend to everyone. Kind courteous staff and very clean complex. I would definitely use them again.
