Facility Description
Many of our customers are using self storage for the first time, and they aren’t sure what size storage unit they need for their items. Our managers at our Laguna Niguel, California location completely understand this concern, and that’s why they like to take people on tours of the facility so they can visually compare unit sizes.
One of the biggest benefits of these tours is that our friendly and professional managers are able to ask you a couple of questions about what you need to store, and from there they can show you the unit that would be right for your needs. Another concern is that people aren’t sure how best to use the space they’re renting, and our manager’s here have over a decade of experience in storage and a ton of advice on how to properly pack your items into the unit.
A lot of folks comment that they’re surprised by how clean the units are, and that’s just one of the many benefits of taking a tour and talking to our expert managers. Our knowledgeable and friendly team is the best in the industry, and they’re eager to help with all your storage and moving needs.
Storage Units
We take great pride in our storage units which range in size from 5’ x 5’—for personal belongings, boxes and stackable items—to 20’ x 35’ for a house full of furniture or your business inventory. Ceilings in units are generally at least 8’ to 10’ high, and are up to 15’ high in select units. Large units (over 10’ x 12’) are supplied with timer lights inside the unit. The hallways are over 5’ wide throughout the property, and they include motion detected lighting for your convenience.
All the units have an easy roll-up door with a mix of drive-up style, indoor standard, and indoor temperature controlled. There are large elevators and flatbed carts available in the two convenient loading dock areas to make your move as smooth and easy as possible.
We also offer a free move-in truck. Please call and reserve days in advance to receive the desired day to use the truck.
There is a gated entry with a unique special access code for each tenant. Our units use a special cylinder lock. 24-hour digital video recorders are in place, and after-hours motion detecting perimeter beams are additional features of our storage facility.
Conveniently located at the north end of Camino Capistrano Road, customers can get to us from Interstate 5 via the Avery Parkway exit. From there you head north on Camino Capistrano Road all the way to the end. People can also enter Camino Capistrano Rd. from Paseo De Colinas.
Our three story modern cement and steel building can be seen from the 5 freeway. The building is highly visible and well lit with large signage.
We are a few buildings north of the famous Mugs Away Saloon and just up the same side of the street from Allen Cadillac (there since 1948)!
Many of our customers live in the surrounding communities of Dana Point, Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano, Laguna Hills, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, Laguna Beach, Ladera Ranch, and Aliso Viejo.

Julie and Tony are phenomenal with their customers and are extremely helpful! They try to work within your storage needs and your budget. There are a credit to US Storage Centers - I can’t recommend the Laguna Niguel location enough!!
My initial e-rental was relatively frustration-free; I chose one available unit that had drive-up access. You have to complete the order in person, and when I arrived Julie - who is one of the owner operators - notified me the unit was an oddly shaped triangle unit, and offered to let me see the unit before committing. The unit was reasonable enough, but Julie also took the time to show me a bunch of the facility and reviewed the open inventory to find me a cheaper, larger unit that was still close enough to elevator access to be convenient. So Julie got me a better unit and saved me some money too, and took care of all the transfer paperwork. My stuff is all moved in now and the facility seems well maintained at the end of a quiet business road, so I'm happy to leave a positive review with the expectation that either my stay will be relatively uneventful or that I can count on Julie to help me out if needed.
Had a great experience a few years ago, and we are now using them for the second time. Great customer service, and a super sweet & helpful property manager!!
It was a very simple and easy experience to do business with US Storage, from access, hours, billing. Julie and Tony and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful as well!
The team here is super friendly and helpful. They were kind to my dog as well who accompanied me on the first visit. The facility is clean and my unit is easy to get to. They have open access bays with push carts to help maximize each trip from the car to your unit. Very happy here

It was one of those days when you're transitional and in the middle of a move with so much to do and I needed help so badly with a place to store some boxes ASAP.... I asked my good friend Siri for the best storage facilities near Ladera Ranch and US Storage Centers came up with very high ratings. Once I made the call, it was like I was speaking to an angel. She took my information and forwarded it to the Mission Viejo location and gave me the address to drive to. I arrived and I believe his name was Chris he greeted me with a smile and a cold bottle of water which was greatly received. He went over everything in a professional yet friendly way and he was my 2nd great encounter. He got me all set up. I was in and out load dropped off in my nice new storage unit which is about 3 miles from where I will be relocating to. I was able to get gas nearby and the freeway exit was just after the Arco Gas Station and I was off and on my way with a big smile and I might say for a very good rate!
The staff is incredible. Friendly, helpful and welcome, made the whole process easy and stress free. US storage had the best rate and also offers to use their moving van for free!

I had an excellent experience with this facility. I moved my household items into my unit in 2019. I’ve had it there for 2 years and all of my items were still in excellent condition when I recently moved out. The unit had a lot of space and was easy to access when needed. I’m also grateful to the staff (Especially the Manager Julie ☺️) for making the moving process so smooth. Everyone in the office is very helpful and friendly. I would definitely use this storage facility in the future.

This was my first time renting a storage unit, and although I hope to not have to use one again for a really long while, I would not hesitate to use US Storage Centers in Laguna Niguel again! I looked into a couple other storage companies in the area, but what really attracted me to US Storage Centers is the use of the box truck to move in is included with the rent. I figured this alone helped me save at least $30.
Julie D'Attilio helped me with my initial enquiry and she was very thorough with the details. Both days of the move-in and move-out, I received the most help from Cris Montoya. Cris was also very informative and attentive, making sure my details were correct and going over the practicalities of borrowing the box truck and accessing my unit. He was very quick in picking up the phone when I had a very minor lock hiccup when moving in and responded quickly in person to fix the issue. Upon move-out, Cris was the one in the office again, and he made the close-out of my account very simple and trouble-free.
The ground unit I rented was very clean, bug-free, and easy to access with a couple of entry/exit points and ample use of moving carts. You have the option of buying and keeping a special lock from the office or using your own.
I highly recommend renting with US Storage Centers in Laguna Niguel.

I have never rented storage space before, the website was very easy to navigate and book my reservation, then onsite the staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They walked me through everything to ensure I understood everything and felt comfortable with my storage unit selection.

So far I have had a very positive experience with US storage centers. The property is clean and easy to get to, and i was able to keep it contactless and do everything online. When I went to get the lock and keys, I wasn't able to make it until right as they closed, but Cris opened the door for me and even stayed late and showed me the unit and made sure I knew how to use the lock before going home for the day. He was very helpful, professional, and didn't act bothered to be there late even though I know he was ready to go home, as he was heading out when I got there. I just want to say that Julie is the best customer service representative of any storage facility I have ever visited. Service and communication are very important, not just how nice the facility is. As far as the actual faculty, it is secure, in a good location, and has great access hours; both front office and extended hours.

***UPDATE 2/7/20*** Still the best storage unit in Mission Viejo/San Juan! The owners are the absolute best! I have an outdoor ground level unit and receive deliveries periodically throughout the year. The layout of the facility is easily accessible from front and back and gates and driveway are easy to navigate without issue. They have a temporary holding area for postal deliveries and while I try to stay ahead of the curve on deliveries (so as not to annoy them) they are always kind enough to let me know when a package is awaiting pickup. Thank you US Storage!

Fantastic place! Super clean and inside the building the temperature is cool and helps protect your stuff not to get moldy. The managers, Julie and Tony are so amazing. I've stored at many different storage facilities around the country, and this is by far the cleanest, most professionally run, and most helpful of any I've ever encountered. Julie, in the office, is friendly, courteous, and knowledgable. Tony is always ready to assist customers with moving their belongings, and keeps the facility spotless. And if they aren't there, Chris usually is, taking care of business.

The people here have been so incredibly nice with everything. We have held a unit here for many months now and never had a single issue. They are always helpful and never give us a hard time. The Managers Julie & Tony always greet me with a big smile and have treated me like family. They have gone above and beyond to help me over the years...which I am truly grateful for. In addition, prices are reasonable and they are very honest & transparent with their costs breakdown. To make things simple, they also provide you with the ability to make easy online payments. Plus, they even offer a free truck if you need it. I highly recommend this storage facility.

Great facility and staff - I've used a few different storage facilities in the last couple years. This by far is the best that I have used. The prices are inexpensive and I love that my unit is gated and alarmed. Julie at the front desk is very sweet and helpful. Anytime I need something (light bulb changed, etc.) she always make sure it gets taken care of right away. I highly recommend this storage. You will not be disappointed!

Such a phenomenal experience storing with this facility. Julie is one of a kind and her dedication to customer service makes you feel like you’re using some extra space in your neighbor’s garage, not a storage unit. I didn’t notice that I hadn’t received a special discount but Julie called a couple days later saying she’d noticed my bill was off and automatically applied the discount. Their support for service members is top notch and was truly helpful when I had to move in preparation for a deployment. Wouldn’t think of storing anywhere else.

Can't say enough good things about this Storage Center. Julie is by far one of the most helpful and caring people you could possibly run across when it comes to helping with any of the needs you may encounter when moving or storing your stuff. Not only other facilities well kept but the security is second to none and the staff is there to help. They have a moving van that you can use to load your stuff in as well as push carts all over the property. When it comes to storing your valuables it's never an easy feeling leaving your stuff somewhere. This is definitely the exception to the rule. Not only are the prices much cheaper than surrounding places but when you add the great customer service to it there's no reason to look anywhere else. Definitely check them out

This is our second time using this Storage location. When we realized we needed more space, we did not even bother looking anywhere else. They are super friendly and attentive and have great prices. 100% recommend them if you are in need of a storage unit.

From the minute you pull up, the location is clean and safe feeling, the building is modern and convenient and well lit. The office is a very nice place and Julie is extremely friendly, efficient, and great at what she does. She very much appreciates the customer and I couldn't be happier. She helped me get the unit I wanted at a great price. The whole place is as nice and easy as a storage facility can possibly be. The hours are the best. The inside is well lit and looks brand new. I have been a happy tenant at US Storage Center in Laguna Niguel, CA for 2+ years.
I have nothing but great things to say about the facility, the staff, and the all-around quality.
I have rented from many storage facilities ranging in location (San Diego, Orange County & Los Angeles) and this specific facility is BY FAR THE BEST.
I have a climate-controlled unit, so I know all of my belongings are in the best possible situation. The security gives me peace of mind, with gates and cameras everywhere. Extended hours of access are offered, and the general hours of access are quite liberal, as well.
It is such a plus to have a facility that is well kept and CLEAN!
It's a very nice place, with listenable music playing through the halls to make your move that much easier. They'll even loan you a truck!
The staff is always very accommodating, and the managers Julie & Tony are incredibly delightful. They are personable, and informative, and I have never felt unsure about my business there.
I really can go on and on about everything about the entire operation.

Friendly, helpful, good rental rates. This business has really great customer service. They went over and beyond helpful in getting us set up with storage units and they've been wonderful every time we've been back.
My friend is about to move to Laguna Woods and had to store things at a storage. He found this place online and asked me to go there last Saturday to sign the contract. This is the first time I've been to US Storage and I was really impressed. Cris was extremely helpful and took us on a quick tour of the place and let us choose the storage room. The place has a gate that is accessed through code. Very clean and safe. Location is great, it's next to the famous Laguna Woods retirement community. I highly recommend US Storage at Laguna Niguel.

This storage facility is great! I couldn't ask for a better experience during my transition to Hawaii. I was worried about the coordination of a shipping container and loading it up but Julie and the staff made everything easy and manageable. I truly appreciate their help as we went through this difficult transition. I even underestimated the amount of stuff we had and Julie was able to help us secure a second unit across from our unit for a reasonable price. The facility is extremely clean and access is easy in and out of your unit. I would definitely send everyone I know in the area to use this US Storage Center. Just leased a space from US Storage. The whole process went perfectly. In addition to providing their truck, free of charge, the unit charge is almost one-half of what I was paying at Public Storage. US Storage Centers is the best storage facility in South Orange County. They offer competitive prices and great customer service, really making you feel like part of the U.S. Storage Center family. My husband and I just sold our house and have not found a new one yet, so we had to put all of our belongings into storage. To top it off, I am pregnant so I could not help my husband with much of anything when it came to actually moving. US Storage Centers accommodated our situation by offering us to use their moving truck (which they allow every one to use moving in) and finding us a unit close to the pull up area. We could not be happier with our storage situation. THANK YOU US STORAGE!

The customer service at this place is quite wonderful and also very accommodating. It was so easy and convenient to get set up, too. I reserved a space online at night, I got an early phone call to confirm the reservation, and by 9:30am I was completely setup and moved into my space(at a discounted rate).

This is an excellent facility.
The storage units are in great condition. My unit had interior and exterior doors with lighting and easy access for loading and unloading. Several dollies were always available for use.
The exterior and hallways are spotless with great security. There are two security gates, one for entry and one for exit. Both require your code to operate.
I always felt safe going to my storage unit at night. The facility is monitored with numerous security cameras and someone on staff is available in the office. Everyone in the office is customer service oriented and exceptionally kind and attentive.
The office has every type of packing material should you have the need and also has a delivery truck available for use.
I highly recommend US Storage in Laguna Niguel.

I rented a storage unit to store my daughters apt furniture while she was in-between moves and the staff was exceptionally helpful, friendly and took a personal interest in making sure my storage needs were met. No matter what I have needed while storing the furniture at US Storage Julie and the other staff members always made sure my questions were answered quickly and completely. Upon moving the furniture out the exceptional service continued - I would rent a storage unit again from US Storage without hesitation - the cost was reasonable the facility is spotless and always clean and the staff is exceptional.

Between family members, friends, and myself, I have seen and used MANY storage units. This is BY FAR the nicest staffed, safest security, cleanest units I have ever seen! And to top it all off... the price is unbeatable!!!

I have utilized storage facilities for years but rarely have I come across a team as helpful and responsive as Julie and Cris. I truly appreciate the manner in which Julie handled all the details of my recent move in with her timely response and can do attitude. I was impressed with the facility and the management team, Julie & Tony. They provided excellent terms and a flexible start date for service. The rules for access are somewhat restrictive, however Julie made sure that I clearly understood the consequences.

I highly recommend US Storage at 27194 Camino Capistrano. It is the cleanest and most well managed storage facility I have ever rented from. I have only met Julie and Tony and they are professional and nice people. Very accommodating when we needed to switch to a bigger unit. The hours and days of operation are great. Thanks!

For over four years I rented an air conditioned space at the US Storage location in Laguna Niguel. During that time I have found Julie and her staff to be friendly, accommodating as much as possible and extremely professional in conducting their business. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to know the feeling that their stored possessions are as safe and secure as possible.
Julie and Tony are the friendliest, most courteous, kind people! I have four units here and could not be more pleased with the service I receive at this facility. I got there just after hours on a Friday and Julie opened up the door and spent a good 30 minutes with me. I reserved a space and then Chris took great care of me. Their truck was reserved, but he gave me a $30 credit toward a truck should I rent one. The hours of gate access are fantastic and so far, really happy with this place.
I have had many storage units over the decades for both business and personal use. This facility is the cleanest and most efficiently run l have ever experienced. Thanks to Tony and Julie it is a pleasure to do business here.

I have called around the South OC area for a storage space. Julie is really nice and helpful to talk with. She is a lot more professional than the others I talked with. I told her about the volume I have, she assured me that her recommended space would store it. Sure enough, I maximized the space.
I went to the office and met Chris. Chris is also very nice to work with. The office is very clean and organized. He showed me different spaces because I never rented storage before. The storage space and environment are really clean. I did not see any dents or damages on the doors. It gives me a safety feeling. Also, Chris and Julie mentioned that they never had break in. Security is definitely my concern.
I really enjoyed renting a space with Julie and Chris. I hope the rest of my experience will be equally pleasant.

Not only are the prices great, the employees are friendly and provide excellent service, the units are very clean, and the second floor is partially air-conditioned.
I have been a customer from the day they opened there facility. There is no other self service storage that has better gate access hours, or a cleaner facility. Tony & Julie, Chris too are absolutely the very BEST and make you feel welcome...That is why people come back & that why I refer my friends & family to use there facility
Had storage unit for two month. The owners are very helpful and have a beautiful clean facility. Easy to move in and out of even on the top floor, plenty of carts and even back good ground music. They also give back to the community, you can donate items which they auction off and give to charity plus they take e waste.

Julie and the staff were so supportive and helpful throughout our two month stay. This was our first time ever needing a storage unit. Whenever we had questions they were answered so quickly and efficiently. The facility is very well maintained, we always had a variety of cart options that were in great condition, and the pull up elevator access made it super convenient to easily get everything to our unit. I would definitely recommend this storage center to anyone in need. Julie will get you setup and ready to rock in roll with encouragement along the way. She is too sweet! We had a wonderful experience and couldn't be happier.
Are you kidding? This is the BEST facility, with the BEST access hours, and the BEST staff. Julie and Tony are always friendly and accommodating. Don't go anywhere else. You are crazy if you don't store your stuff at US Storage - Laguna Niguel!
These guys are awesome. They always get back to me promptly and they always politely answer even my most mundane (and naïve) questions. The place is clean and well lighted compared to others I've had. They will even take donations to charity and do electronic recycling for tenants on-site. I am SO glad I picked them for storing my stuff!

We just got our storage unit 2 weeks ago ant our first experiences have been great.
The facility is very clean, they have carts and a truck available for moving your items.
Also, getting the first two months at half price helps a lot. The office personnel is informative, very friendly and helpful
I stored my things at this location for several years. I can say that it is the best storage facility I've used and I've used quite a few in OC. The free move in truck led me to choose this one over the others nearby. The office staff is very friendly and accommodating. The place is super clean and feels safe even at night. I'd highly recommend it if you're looking in Laguna Niguel.
I cant say enough good things about this storage facility. Julie and Tony have always been positive, helpful good hearted people over the years. The building is always clean and carts are readily available at every opening to assist you with your items. Internet payments are easy and convenient and if you do walk in to pay you're always greeted with a positive happy person. If you're looking to store your possessions I highly recommend this location. On a side note they are involved with many charities so renting here helps our community. I was a little sad to leave, but happy to have met such wonderful people!

We've been using this facility for a few years. It is clean and convenient and all of the folks here are great to work with.
This facility is absolutely TOP NOTCH, very professional and courteous, yet it actually feels like family. I am so pleased with the units, the location of the facility, the accessibility for really large moving trucks to get in and out, and the climate control is just perfect. The area is very safe and secure and constantly monitored. I feel safe going in and out of there and also having my possessions stored in the units. You get all of these perks and then to top it off the prices are unbeatable and I definitely did my research! Chris at the front desk is the nicest guy you'll ever meet and so incredibly helpful and accomodating. This is truly first class customer service all the way and that is nearly impossible to find in a business these days. 5+ stars!!
The Laguna Niguel team of Julie and Tony are terrific! Their knowledge of the storage industry is terrific and proved very helpful in my making decisions on correct sizing to fit my budget.

Julie & Tony are amazing!! I am an outside sales rep and have had a work storage unit here for almost 10 years now. They accept all my UPS/FedEx packages that are delivered from my corporate office. They also go above and beyond and place the packages directly in my unit. I trust them so much that I had no problem giving them an extra key.
The building and surrounding grounds are extremely clean and secure. I am very lucky to have found this location many years ago and continue to feel fortunate every day!
This is the first time I have written a review. I am doing because this US Storage Center is so great to deal with. Super responsive, friendly and professional. These people are the real deal. Moving can be stressful and they understand this.
Check out the value. Plus the place is so clean than you don't have to worry about grime getting on your stored furniture.
