Our managers are highly skilled at understanding customers’ storage concerns, and helping clients to find the right storage solutions for them. We will take you on a tour of our storage facility, so that you can compare units, unit locations and sizes, and prices. Located at the corner of Superior Avenue and Commercial Way, just off of Newport Boulevard, our Costa Mesa storage units are easy to spot. We are located across the street from Sea Breeze Villas, as well as the Boathouse Collective and Dainese D-Stores. Access our facility from Interstate 55.
Not only is our facility easy to reach, and therefore the perfect storage location for all people living in the Costa Mesa and Newport Beach areas, but our facility is also maintained in superior condition. Storage Units
We are also proud of the fact that we offer a number of different storage unit sizes so that all of our customers can find the right-sized unit to fit their needs. We realize that you may need to store everything from your whole house boxed up (in the event of a move) to just a few boxes of odds and ends to bicycles, golf clubs, and surfboards. For this reason, we have storage unit sizes starting at 5’ x 5’ and going as large as 20’ x 35’ – come see these units in person for a better idea of what each can hold and to learn more about our pricing.
5’ x 5’ – Perfect for personal belongings and stackable boxes.
10’ x 12’ – These units are perfect for those who need a little more room to store larger items or more boxes. We are happy to say that all units 10’ x 12’ and larger are equipped with timer lights inside the units.
20’ x 35’ – A 20’ x 35’ unit is perfect for those customers who need to store very large items or are in the process of moving their entire home. These units can comfortably store multiple pieces of furniture and boxes.
Hallways greater than 5’ wide separate all of our units so that you have plenty of room to move your goods in and out. The majority of our units also include ceilings of at least 8’ in height, with some ceilings as high as 15’.
Of course, many of our units feature temperature controlled environments to preserve the life of your stored items. We also offer a free move in truck, as well as flatbed carts, to help your move go as smoothly as possible.
Boat Storage
If you live in California, there is a good chance that you have a boat. While taking your boat out year round is certainly a possibility with mild California weather, where you will store your boat when it’s not in use can prove to be a conundrum. Happily, US Storage Centers offers plenty of boat storage, including indoor storage depending upon boat height, width, and length.

Our facility is locked 24/7, and is only accessible to those with a unique access code. We also have 24/7 digital video recording of the facility.

I've got to share this incredible experience I just had at US Storage Centers on Superior Drive in Newport Beach/Costa Mesa. More specifically, I need to rave about David L., who's not just an employee there - he's a genuine customer service hero!
I wasn't even the one renting a unit; I was there helping a friend move. But from the moment we walked in, stressed and overwhelmed, David was like a beacon of calm. His warm smile and friendly demeanor immediately put us both at ease.
Even though I wasn't the actual customer, David treated me with the same kindness and respect. We bombarded him with questions about unit sizes, climate control, security - you name it. David didn't just answer; he broke everything down in a way that made perfect sense to storage newbies like us. No judgment, no condescension - just clear, helpful info delivered with a smile.
What really impressed me was David's genuine care. He picked up on our moving stress right away and took the time to listen to us vent (sorry again, David!). He even shared some of his own moving horror stories, which had us all laughing. It felt less like a business transaction and more like chatting with a friend who happens to be a storage expert.
Now, let me tell you about the moment that truly blew me away. We were struggling to figure out how to maneuver the moving truck while also parking my friend's car. Without missing a beat, David offered to help move the truck while my friend dealt with their car. I mean, who does that? David does, that's who! He didn't have to do that, but he saw we were struggling and stepped up. That kind of above-and-beyond service is rare these days.
Throughout the whole process, David was a lifesaver. He showed us clever storage hacks with a hand-drawn diagram (who knew there was an art to box stacking?), cracked jokes to lighten the mood, and made the dreaded paperwork process almost enjoyable for my friend. He explained everything clearly, pointed out the important bits, and even threw in some tips on how to make the most of the unit.
I could go on and on about how awesome David is, but I'll wrap it up. If you or a friend need storage in Newport Beach, do yourself a huge favor and head to US Storage Centers on Superior Drive. We looked at a couple different storage facilities and they were giving us technical issues or weren't what we needed. We rented a storage unit here online and it was very straight forward. We came in to finish up paper work and to see our unit. David was very helpful to disclose that the unit we had selected online was more of a walking unit. He gave us the option to change to a unit that better suited our needs. He provided us will all the information we needed and was over all very helpful and nice.

First and foremost, a representative answers the telephone. David the manager was helpful, intelligent and presentable. Adam assisted me with my rental. He is a new hire. He was fluent with the lease software and was able to complete the unit rental in under 20 minutes. I needed a reasonable storage unit last week, I'm so glad I came across US storage on Superior Ave. In Costa Mesa.
At first I was hesitant on renting a space since I didn't want to get ripped off. It was my first time needing storage space, and only had one item to store, and wouldn't be needing it for long.
David's great customer service, and knowledge made me feel at ease, David made the rental process fast and easy.
Also the property is extremely clean, (including customer restroom) my unit seemed pretty new.

US Storage Centers has been super convenient on multiple occasions during my stressful moves. Over 11 years ago I looked around for storage units and met David who manages the Newport Beach, Ca. US Storage Center on Superior Ave. He took the time to show me all his available units and we discussed what I needed to store. He set me up with the perfectly sized unit I kept for 7 years without any issues. I just recently had to move out of state for work again and there was no question where I was going to store my valuables, I called David and he dialed me in to a perfectly sized unit for the right price. I'm resting easy now knowing my things are safe and secure.

My experience with US Storage was pleasant and felt their Property Manager, David Lozano went the extra mile in the Unit that I received. He made sure that I would be close to an exit, walked through the process with me. This is surely a place I would recommend to anyone that needed somewhere where they could be secure that their valuables are in good hands. CLEAN, GOOD ACCESS HOURS, and someone is on the property 24/7. Thanks David.

First of all, David is courteous n friendly, always with a smile. Second, he's bilingual, speaks spanish n English which is great since we needed info in spanish too.
I just like that he never looks bothered when I've needed to go there.

This is the best storage facility in the area and possibly the county. I've priced everyone and they all are over priced with added fees, phony deals, bad service. This place was recently bought from Superior Storage and has been renovated, cleaned, added security cameras, proper cleaning staff and moving surprise, plus they enforce common sense rules like keeping dogs out etc. David the manager is also a very honest good guy, I highly recommend this place.

The facility is clean and well maintained. I love that they send their communications via email rather than snail mail. Saves paper, saves the environment. I highly recommend them.
